In the 1990’s, 70% of Iowa high school graduates left the state after graduation. Fortunately, that has changed. Nearly 67% of Dowling Catholic graduates remain in Iowa!

In the 1990’s it was not unusual to hear that 70% of Iowa high school graduates leave the state looking for more opportunity. But that has changed! The 2020 U.S. News and World Report ranks Iowa #14 as the best state to live with opportunity, education and fiscal stability scoring high. A gift to CTO benefits the state overall to help provide tuition assistance and keep graduates local.
